There are many ways to become a PGWISE member:

• Attend General Assembly Meetings.

  • For every GA meeting that you attend you will receive PGWISE swag.

  • GA meetings will be held about 3 times throughout the academic year.

• Volunteer at PGWISE organized outreach events.

  • Throughout the year we will coordinate with local organizations and schools to conduct STEM outreach.

  • Volunteers will be awarded PGWISE swag

• Attend career development events.

  • Sign up for our mailing list and look for emails from us and your graduate program administrator to participate in our career development events.

• Join us for happy hours!

• Join our Executive Board

  • Executive board elections are held in the fall semester

Career Advancement and Networking

PGWISE collaborates with the career services office to provide female-identifying graduate students, as well as individuals of all gender identities who support the advancement of women in STEM fields, with a variety of professional workshops focused on negotiation, public speaking, interviewing, and networking skills.
